Buuuuut...

If you look at the actual price of the car, without all the "estimated" and "potential" things, the car will cost you $43,000

Tesla sales pitch was intended for the mathematically challenged demographic.

I have ran numbers on buying a Tesla every which way for the last 8 years and I still could not make it work for me.  I am sure it works for some people.  But it does not work for a majority of the buyers.

Right? That'd be like Lowes saying a new washing machine costs $700 - because you'll save $300 on energy and water - but you have to pay us $1000 now
