I was really condemned in my mind to Harris winning. Now, I'm not sure just what he can realistically follow through on, but I really REALLY REALLY!!!!!!!! want to see those mass deportations start on day one. I just looked up the vote numbers from last election and from 2016.

Trump got around 63 million votes in 2016; 74 million votes in 2020; 72 million votes in 2024.

Hillary got 66 million votes in 2016; Biden got 81 million votes in 2020; Harris got 67 million votes in 2024.

This was not too big to rig.

Still, I am simply amazed that 14 million democrat voters simply did not show up to vote for Harris.  Fancy that.

Looks like the GOP might take the house also. The real test here is going to be, are those who swung towards Trump going to be doing better 2 years from now. That is going to take some effort on the GOP's behalf, and capitulating to mega donors by striking regulation to fuel the casino to ever greater heights is not going to get them there. Further letting private equity and hedge funds act as banks, buying up and ever increasing share of assets to extract rent from the plebs is not going to get them there. Abandoning those voters concerns now that they got what they want is not going to get them there. A flip at the midterms and yet more impasse and stagnation is not going to get us anywhere.
