What do you have in jail?
« on: November 24, 2015, 02:33:06 PM »
It's funny that I was going to post this on the other forum so I thought I'd start one here!

Just jailed a 92FS Inox after doing a PPT pick-up today; anytime I tip off my LGS as to something I want they go ahead and order it knowing I'll buy it my next visit!  :-[

Should go nicely with my black 92FS.

Didn't think to take any pictures.
Put a Glock 36 in jail at Riflegear last Friday after taking my wife to Roscoe's for fried chicken and waffles.

I guess we'll have to have chicken and waffles next Monday too.

Funny, my wife.
It's usually a fight to drag her out of bed before 11 due to her pain killers effing up her sleep patterns.

So last week, I'm thinking Riflegear on my Friday off.   So I text her before I leave work "Chicken and waffles tomorrow?"

I woke up at 7:30, she was out of bed and in the shower :D

It's a neat gun, that was my first pistol purchase. I thought about selling it a couple weeks ago because it just doesn't get as much use as it deserves, but changed my mind, I'm hanging onto it. Just for sentimentality, I left my G29 at home today and wore my G36. The holster is still stiff from non-use, but it felt good. It's a really fun pistol to shoot, too. I'll probably threaten to sell it a few more times in the future, but I doubt I actually will. Enjoy! Post a range report when you take it out!

Also, sweet 92 OP! I've got the Brig version of the same pistol, you'll enjoy the heck out of shooting yours, I promise. Hard to deny they look really good too, even with the US-made black small parts.

Edit: haha, just noticed the part where you said it'll go well with your black 92. So I guess you probably didn't need me to tell you it's a great shooter. Nevertheless, enjoy your pretty new addition!

Trust me I know I'll love shooting it.

I almost want to buy yet another Inox so I can keep one in the safe and the other as a range gun! My fiancé wants me to get a 1911 but it'd be awhile before I go down that rabbit hole.

I was thinking of getting a Bersa Firestorm, went to pickup my Ruger 44 carbine and found a used FEG PA-63 instead, two tone just like I always wanted!

I jailed a CZ SP-01 yesterday.  Only my second CZ, though I have some clones.  Around $600 for a gun like that is a great deal... good trigger, steel frame, railed, steel night sights, accurate, on-roster, etc...
Glock 30 is the world's best handgun, I think we can all agree.  My mate told me the most tactical hardcore operators on his security team at the Yuba City Mall love the Glock 30 as the most advanced war machine since the Terminator.
