What forum has calgunners gone to

i moved to sch outboors and bloody decks and  jessies. Now I am back calguns down again alsdo ar15.com

Still here. Since I am in NV I am also on NevedaShooters daily. I check 1911forum when I get the weekly recap.

I remember when that site owner got all butt hurt in Calguns Hunting Sub and stomped off taking hus toys with him.

Also that forum imploded after some doofus trying to pass off a mount he bought out of state as a California Record and got caught tresspass hunting.

I actually learned of CGN from the Front Sight First Family forum.  I really didn't participate in that forum but when I came here it was all about CA gun laws I stayed.  CGN is the only forum I've participated in.   :-[

Im 73 and have only been on CG.   Too old. Extremely set in my ways.

Don't have any interest in starting with other forums.

If Calguns.org is it so be it.  If it too goes away, oh well.

Been lurking more over on Texas Gun Talk forum. If all goes as planned, and it looks like it is, we'll be there in less than a year.

Still, I won't completely abandon CG. Just CA itself.  8)

I took a look without registering and saw a few CGN names.  Kes better get a move on or he might lose his customer base.  I know nada how much $$$ a website like CGN brings in, is it a money maker or just a labor of love, but I haven't seen Vendor ads on CGN after the 1st server move and I assume that is how CGN pays for its self.  Almost 2 years of problems, CGN might be a ghost town if it keeps up.  That would be a damned shame!

I took a cursory run through CAguns this AM and it is clean, but appears to me more geared to seller/buyers.  Personally I am no longer in that category and more interested in legislation/political and current affairs.

There is a legislative section but the site is young.

At the moment I still prefer .Net but then I dislike change...unless it is my idea. :)

I went through so many forums over the years and .Net seem to meet my needs.

Until Mr. Kestryll pulls the plug or smashes me with the big hammer, I am primarily a Calgunner.

this.  has a very nice format for that.

seem to have some pretty lengthy active threads on CCW stuff.  broken up regionally

Enjoy the liberals and wokeness over there.  No "OT" forum allowed, no current events/political discussions allowed, no 'freedom' to discuss various topics that may concern like-minded 2A folks.

Keep in mind that .NET has a database that's going on 20 years (or more) of information, it's a different animal than a brand new forum with a very small database and user base.

Yeah, The Good, it is imperative that we get .Net up an running considering the current events today and the election.  As I mentioned over on .Net concerning Mr. Trump's new golfing experience, I got more and quicker info from members viewing and listening to various sources and posting that info, than any place else.

I truly appreciated the members doing that.

Calguns. Net is unique.  Gotta get her fixed.
