M-21? with early night vision scope and suppressor.
Now that's a bad-a** gun!
Me want!

Perhaps I should change my name to:
"Mr. Crazy Old Fart"

My OJ Simpson "Season's Greetings" avatar is starting to creep me out.
Time for something new.

I found this press release:

GeoVario - Green Geo Diverse Hosting Company Acquires CDglobal
With Content Delivery, Geo Diverse Web & Application hosting, and completely green power, GeoVario is the leader in responsible content.

Palo Alto, CA (PRWEB) October 2, 2008 -- Popular CDN and hosting company CDglobal, is now GeoVario.com. While offering the same high quality services as before, GeoVario introduces a new emphasis on Geo Diverse redundant hosting solutions.

Geo Diversity, the leading technology in data protection and redundancy, allows for site mirroring and off-site data backup at multiple geographically separate locales. The increased security and reliability such hosting provides is a phenomenal upgrade over redundant hosting in a single data center or collocation facility.

GeoVario offers the advantage of the highest quality geodiverse hosting solutions with an affordability that was until recently unthinkable for such services. Combined with the superior personal service and support of CDglobal, these offerings place GeoVario at the forefront of modern hosting technology.

GeoVario also formerly launches the commitment to renewable energy, all energy to power GeoVario operations comes from purchased or subsidized solar instillations, making GeoVario completely 'green' and independent of foreign oil.

Launched by Ben Cannon in 1994, GeoVario has become the leader in the specialized market of highly available application hosting, and content delivery. "Judging by the number of businesses, members, and government entities we host, as well as their retention and referral rate, we have succeeded," says Ben Cannon, President, "not to mention their demographics."

GeoVario, headquartered in Palo Alto, CA, was created by forward-thinking businessmen in a time when the internet was in its infancy, and currently boasts Fortune 100 Companies, and most branches of the US Armed Services, as clients. Through constant attention to the market and their clients, the company has been able to not only change with the times, but remain future based, debt free, and poised to capture new markets even as they are being created.

Very true.  After watching the performance of CalGuns.net, I honestly would not pay to have my site (if I had one) with Geovario...

Ummm...my site would be up by now if no outages.
Black Reef has told me several different times he cannot work on my site due to the outages.
I am concerned.
I hope they get it all fixed soon.

No.  I because I am going to the shoot on Saturday and I don't feel like driving all over Southern CA on the beginning of the year, maybe if you guys buy me an airplane ticket from SD to LAX, I might show up.

I would recommend hosting somewhere else.
I use a company back east for $5 a month for several of my sites.
Reliability has been great.
I will have maybe one outage every couple years that lasts a few hours at the most.
And then when that happens, I get an email and they credit me a month's service.
Granted, my sites a small, only 100,000 hits a month or so, but it's a sign that the hosting company as a whole is healthy.
Calguns is a HUGE sight, but a good hosting company should be MUCH more reliable than we have been seeing.
Dedeye tried to get me to swap over all my sites (about 8-10) that I webmaster, but it just does not make sense considering past and present performance...
I didn't really enjoy taking showers with other men though I have done it
I move a lot...and drool....

Is that a FEMA camp in the distance?
Or is that Kestryll's secret place to put all of us...?

Chief: yes, there has been discusion on this with Black Reef.
I am trying to support Geo Vario as they host CGN for free, but if it does not work, then it does not work and action will have to be taken.
Randall, perhaps I will follow up with you on your host in the near future.
