No one needs war but why are we always pushing the agenda -
Oji - Did you pick up anything from the show over the weekend?
I just don't want any nukes going off anywhere. Think Global Warming is a problem? Easy compared to a nuke winter.
Gun show purchases: not much!
A couple cheap flashlights that mount on paint ball guns. Neat plastic mount included that maybe good for something tacti-cool later.
A couple packs of CR123 batteries.
The show looked well sold out by Sunday afternoon.
What was left was too high priced: $600 for a Saiga (I hope it was 308 at least); $1699 for a AR with BB installed & a few goodies on it; $16.95 for a brick of Winchester Wildcat .22LR ammo (I'm used to $11.00), general rape and pillage by vendors.
I did meet the owner of Accu-Tek Firearms that is located in Chino, close to my motorcycle job place.
He had a new 22 rifle there that uses 10/22 mags, kinda a 85% sized AR15. $500.
But he also does investment castings there and maybe can make some of my gun parts cheaper. We will see.
Awesome military reinactors group there this time...they had Russian 47mm anti-tank gun, German and USA half-tracks, I got to pick up and fondle a G43, saw some repro Panzerfausts and Panzershreks, Degaterev(?) pan-magazine machine gun, Bren, etc etc. I spent more time looking at this stuff than the show.
