My Glock 30 hold more rounds in the clip and is more modern in every way. The 1911 is just too old, I think we can all agree.

Someone had a thread in the .net forum about using his Grandpa's 1911 from like WWII as a HD gun, and others made the same point... do you really want it to be melted down by the PD if you ended up needing to use it?
