All it would take is for the administrators and/or Dr Jones or another IT person doing work to get on the horn and make a simple quick announcement on both .net and .org that work is being done or that it's on hold but will continue.

No way do they not have a few minutes available to do that.

The fact that there has been not a peep in donkey's ages does make it clear that nothing is being done..

Yeah. Been pretty much dead in the water for two days. I do not believe .net is being worked on at all. I believe .org is being ignored as well since no new accounts have approved.

Anchorage quake was 9+. I remember seeing it on the news along with the resulting tsunami inundating one of the large harbors along the coast.

In SoCal I worry about the San Andreas and associated faults where 8+ occurs every 150 to 300 years. Last one 1857. Last in the north    Frisco 1906

Meh. In the ocean and far north.
I ran out of the house into the street during the Landers 92 quake. Could hear the heavy clay tiles shaking. I was in Corona Norco.
Only time scared in a CA quake.

June 28, 1992 - a magnitude 7.6 earthquake near Landers and a magnitude 6.7 aftershock near Big Bear Lake.

To accomplish this Joe Manchin, Susan Collins, and Lisa Murkowski would have to agree to support a new nominee. Manchin said he would go along with it if at least ONE Republican goes along with it. Otherwise no.

They could make it Job One of the lame duck Senate
Senate can no longer filibuster a supreme court nominee. Thanks to McConnell.

Would require intense pressure on Sotomayer and Kagen to leave. Do it or else pressure, as they did with Biden. They will likely be getting nasty calls, emails, verbal harassment, et al.

They are now experts at eating their own. Chewing them up and spitting them out.

Still quite doable if one or both resign.  How will that pressure from her so called friends affect them? Plenty of district court judges volunteering their services as a nominee.
Some ideas being voiced about nominating Kamala Harris. 
She is great at snuffing those who were good to her.

Would definitely screw us if they get this, and possibly the House, final victory

Definitely has me concerned.

Dems are gaining in the House race now. Faster than the GOP.
Currently 189 Dem,  209 GOP     
Need 218 to win
Seems like the majority of remaining districts have the Dem candidate edging very slightly ahead of the GOP candidate

Dems holding onto hope they will win to keep Trump in check

Regardless, RINOS will essentially accomplish help them accomplish that

Voters told dont worry, just hand it in. It will be counted later by election officials. Judge allowing polls to remain open till 10PM

The malfunction caused voters confusion, long lines of voters, and many individuals left the polling locations without casting a ballot, the petition said.

Many said they doubt their vote will be counted.

 the glitch threatens to disenfranchise a significant number of voters in Cambria County.

WJAC said that in addition to problems in Bedford and Cambria counties, it had received unconfirmed reports of voting problems in Blair, Somerset and Luzerne counties.
