Depends, Sharpshooters in Torrance is more lax in rules but Insights is closer.  I rarely make it outdoors, I may do the BLM land thing more but for outdoors Angeles is usual lately but Lytle Creek is ok and I like A Place to Shoot a lot.

Might go to Prado soon.

I go to a small local range here in our area, Hayward - The only bad thing is that it's close to an airport so no FMJ.

I'll hazard a guess that's where this picture was taken:

I'll hazard a guess that's where this picture was taken:

95 between Vegas and Indian Springs.  About a mile north of Corn Creek Road, turn east (right) off the highway.  It's easy to see as you approach.

Don't turn off the highway to the west, or south of Corn Creek Rd.--you'll get ticketed.

Yep.
That's where we go when I shoot with a buddy in Vegas.
And that's where the picture was taken too.

Dang them places are messy.

If you head out there with a rake and some screen, you could probably clean it up a bit and make a nice living selling the brass.

Dang them places are messy.

That tends to happen anywhere that the public can go without paying a fee or being managed by an official rangemaster.

Might be going to Angeles or Lytle creek today.  Lil Bean flaked from our Prado meet.

Try Soutbay Rod and Gun Club in Dulzura, about 15 miles due east of San Diego.  Has a nice 300 yard range and in general the RO's leave you alone.  No foolishness tho.  On weekdays seldom crowded.
