Need Help on a good deal for a high quality scope
« on: November 27, 2015, 07:04:54 AM »
Sup guys!

Been watching the normal places and hoping to see a good deal pop up but haven't. Looking to spend about $1000.00 on some quality glass for my new 6.5. Im not too caught up in the brand anything good like Leupold, Zeiss, Knightforce etc.

Please let me know what you guys have found. I appreciate it!

Vortex Viper PST 6-24x50

Since you didn't say what you were planning on using the scope for, I just took a guess.

Don't know if this qualifies as high quality, but midway has Burris Fullfield E1 Rifle Scope 2-7x 35mm for $130 shipped.  http://www.midwayusa.com/product/191894/burris-fullfield-e1-rifle-scope-2-7x-35mm-ballistic-plex-e1-reticle-matte

For that price point, you should check out offerings from Bushnell, Burris, and Vortex.

NO.

SWFA will get you the best deal, and if you can afford a thousand bucks, go Leupold at a MINIMUM.  No one EVER regrets GOOD glass; EVERYONE regrets cheap/lousy glass.
In the event of an ACTUAL emergency, YOU'LL be replying from the bottom of the Pacific.  :-p
