today's error is a SSL certificate. oddly and normally if you accept the risk, it can continue. SSL certificates just validate the domain / url you're going to is authentic.

i tried going advanced -> accept risk but it looks to be another problem on top of it since there's no accept and continue.

I was able to get on site about 0145 hrs this AM but kept getting the "log in" screen.  Normally, I can back out and read a couple of post before that screen shows up again.  This AM backing out didn't work.

I'd like to think it's being worked on, but I believe in the Easter Bunny too, so... :)

It took some effort, but I was just signed in at .net.

Unfortunately, when I tried to post, the site could no longer be reached, again.  But, that's become somewhat 'normal' for this time of day.

There hasn't been much activity since around midnight, I did get to see that much.

Bear in mind the SSL Certificate has been allowed to expire in the recent past and today is an holiday.  So...

We'll see.  It's not a good look, but it's also not a guarantee that this is the end either.

I just got on, again.  I made two posts successfully.  There is very limited activity, but activity nonetheless.  Still a whole lot of timeouts, log in issues, etc.

One thing I did note earlier this morning was that something like 31 members were logged in, but the site had over 200,000 visitors.

The site requires an SSL connection but there's something wrong with the certificate (expired?).

Yup, can't get on from any device. Tried whitelisting the site to see if I can bypass the invalid cert and nothing. Totally locked out.

As as visitors etc, I'm not so sure that count is accurate.  I suspect that that is accumulative; not dropping off "visitors" as it does members.  I'm sort of basing that on I've seen the visitor count stay the same for several hours; not so with members.

Just a guess.

The new cert was issued yesterday. Perhaps it needs to play catch up like said, today is a holiday....
Idk, I'm not going to install anything on my end because everything with the site is so F'd up. I'm just gonna wait and see what happens...lol

Just tried to log in.

Your connection is not private
Attackers might be trying to steal your information from www.calguns.net (for example, passwords, messages, or credit cards). Learn more about this warning
net::ERR_CERT_AUTHORITY_INVALID
www.calguns.net normally uses encryption to protect your information. When Brave tried to connect to www.calguns.net this time, the website sent back unusual and incorrect credentials. This may happen when an attacker is trying to pretend to be www.calguns.net, or a Wi-Fi sign-in screen has interrupted the connection. Your information is still secure because Brave stopped the connection before any data was exchanged.

You cannot visit www.calguns.net right now because the website uses HSTS. Network errors and attacks are usually temporary, so this page will probably work later.
