Thursday drag racing at irwindale
« on: November 20, 2008, 01:06:59 AM »
We worked on the car all evening and it should start tomorrow when we put the oil in.
Plan is to head out around 2pm, catch lunch in irwindale near the track and be in line for tech before 3.
Racing starts at 4 if I remember correctly.

Look for a Black 70 Chevelle with no hood, parked next to a light blue mid-80's toyota landcruiser and you will find us.

Changes this week include a 3500rpm stall torque converter, 10.5" wide hoosier wrinkle wall slicks and a line-loc.
I didn't really enjoy taking showers with other men though I have done it
I move a lot...and drool....

It's a trap...  :D

I was going to bring a friend last time you were there, he is into that stuff.  And watch all the Wild Hogs wannabes ride in a circle around the track.

You should know by now none of these flakes will go.  Witness our TAN meet, my Knotts thread, my Thanksgiving thread, ect.
The sky is falling, the sky is falling!
