Some people still do it, I do it with my children, but it's not like I give them a shot of whiskey, you just put some on a cotton ball and rub it on thier gums.

Anbesol works good, but it wears off quickly. I remember about 10 years ago it lasting longer. they also have these hololistic teething tablets called hylands, I wont give those to my children cause I have heard the ingredient in them can make your children OD on the recomended dose of 3 tablets.

old teething remedy, In the old days people would put whiskey on the nipples of thier childrens bottles to help with teething. It numbs the childs gums. Now you just put it on a cotton ball and rub it on thier gums.

I used whiskey. I guess some people probably get the wrong idea and shove the whole bottle down the little ones throat. Probably why the don't say to do that.
