CGN is Back Up!!

We still have some fine tuning to do but the migration is done and the DNS/CNAME issues have been addressed and should be propagating through the servers now.
The Security Cert issue has been fixed as well and we're up and live.

The url for the forum is shorter and simpler now:  https://www.calguns.net/index.php

It was up and working great and I was checking all the cool new features like the pool and the sauna and deleting my own posts and then it crashed.


(I hope it wasn't because I tested that toaster at the bottom of the running jacuzzi? )

I wouldn't celebrate yet.   System errors, and simply typing www.calguns.net goes to a white screen.  Is this just a one person team running the entire site?

It's. . . sort of . . . back up for me.

A LOT of errors, with failure to load and 'Reload' doesn't work.  The page isn't working, Calguns is currently unable to handle the request.  500 error.

Some are getting through and posting, I can see that.

As I predicted, a few 'bugs' to work out.

Still being patient. . .

WTF!?!?! It was up and running earlier!
According to both the site host and the DNS host everything is set up correctly and should be running fine. It's not.

Okay, time to start hammering on the support ticket button, this is not acceptable.

I was able to log on, but only got access to my forum profile.

From there! however I was able to see the Forum Index. When I clicked on a subforum, screen went white and saw the Infinity Timer again.

Same old.

Is this new forum software on the same server that .net had been using recently?

No, this is on vBulletin's own cloud server!
This is suppose to be supported by the developers of the software.

I'm suspecting a DNS issue only because of the way it's set up.
I have the domain name hosted on a new VPS so I can use the domain for emails and vBulletin uses a CNAME pointer to go to their cloud server.
However the DNS on the VPS has been showing as 4% propagated for over 24 hours.

I'm getting a straight DNS error so I suspect the DNS records have not fully propagated. Can anyone post the URL using the server's IP address and the correct path to the forum so i can bypass DNS?

Pinging Calguns.net returns zero results.  DNS has not been updated for the new server I suspect?

I'm only guessing but I think that is for the administrator to sign into Vbulletin to continue setup and etc.
